HHL Strengthens the Entrepreneurship Profile of its Part-Time MBA

Freie-PM.de: HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management's part-time MBA program also ranks among the top positions worldwide in the field of entrepreneurship. The curriculum of HHL's part-time MBA program with a general orientation will be extended by a new module called Business Design, Modeling, and Planning to become even more attractive to founders, innovators and future entrepreneurs. This course will be offered to the classes starting in spring 2015 in Leipzig and Cologne together. Students will learn to find new business ideas, to develop them, and to present them to potential investors. In addition to the new course, the modules Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, as well as the Global Immersion Seminar, which focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation, are already being offered in HHL's part-time MBA program. The latter takes the part-time MBA students to top Universities in Boston, MA, USA, for a week.
Students also have the opportunity to actively participate in entrepreneurship events with both national and international range, such as the International HHL Investors Day, the Accelerate Conference, or the Start-up Career Fair.

HHL Dean Professor Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, who holds one of HHL's three entrepreneurship-oriented chairs himself, says, "The alterations to our part-time MBA make this program not only more attractive for potential company founders but also for employees of companies, who are in great demand as intrapreneurs, and also for the important group of company successors who want to prepare for the responsibility of assuming leadership in the family business or as external successors."

The Part-Time Master in Management Program (MBA)

The two-year part-time MBA program with a focus on General Management is designed for people working in middle management who would like to expand their existing knowledge by practice-oriented and up-to-date management knowledge. The program has achieved top rankings in the Financial Times rating for career progress of its alumni, and salary increase after graduation. The classes, held in English, teach the basics of economics in combination with concrete management tools. Internationally renowned professors teach extended management skills and leadership competencies.
